This week has been National Science Week and along with the school we have been exploring seeds and growing. We have been crushing fruit and vegetables to see their seeds and we planted some peas too.

Today we all went to the big trim trail area. We had fun balancing, climbing, sliding and problem solving on the equipment. We also had games of throwing the balls and football on the go too. 

Yesterday we found a beautiful butterfly in our garden. The painted lady butterfly was struggling to fly in the wind with its sore wing, we rescued it for the day. We gave it some slices of orange to have a drink. We released I today when the weather was calm. 

We celebrated World Book Day by reading The Three Little Pigs story. We completed different activities with the Three Little Pigs theme. We used the smartboard, Beebot, painted pig faces, built houses from straws,sticks and bricks and made piggy biscuits for snack. We have had a fabulous day. 

We have been very excited this week with the arrival of our new interactive smartboard. We are really looking forward to using it in our play and learning.
