Summer Term Curriculum Overview

Our new topic is The Vikings.  Please explore these websites if you have time and want to learn more.mail
The video below is one of the Horrible Histories songs.  The words do actually have some facts hidden in them, as well as being a wee bit funny for adults and children.  We are listening to this in class and might try and learn it.

Horrible Histories - Literally: The Viking Song

The Vicious Vikings belt out a soft rock classic from the brand new series.

Just in case you've missed any letters in bags, the children are performing in Eyemouth Library next Thursday for Julia Donaldson (children's author).  Some children are playing characters and might have details of an outfit to try and bring in on the day, these are not essential and I'm not meaning for anyone to buy anything especially please.  Some children are narrators and should have brought home some lines to practise.  I appreciate your support with this.  We would like to invite you to see the performance on Tuesday 27th March at 2.30p.m. in the Old High School Hall.  It would be lovely to see you there.

P3B/M are very busy getting ready for their performance next Thursday at the library with Julia Donaldson, children's author.

Look at the amazing team-work going on!

Better late than never.  Here are some photos of P3B/M enjoying paired reading with P6/7B on World Book Day.  It was a really enjoyable experience for all and the class teachers took a turn at reading aloud to both classes from "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone."
